The Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest is located in the village of Sigri in Western Lesvos, in a distance of about 90 km from the city of Mytilene.

It can be accessed by bus, car, motorbike etc.

BUS

For public transport, the long-distance bus service (KTEL) is available (contact number 22510 28873). In the winter there are bus routes from Mytilene to Sigri and vice-versa twice a week.

FERRY BOAT

Lesvos is connected to Piraeus, Chios and Kavala by regular ferry itineraries.

AIR

Lesvos is connected to Thessaloniki and Athens by daily flights (flight duration approx. 45 minutes).

In the summer there are also alternative itineraries, as well as charter flights from many european cities.
