Christmas is on the corner and we are all looking for ways to spend our time creatively and happily with our loved ones, especially this year when we stay home for a long time.

The Museum therefore offers you a series of simple Christmas crafts, for both young and older ones, inspired by plants found in the Petrified Forest of Lesvos. All the crafts are based on natural materials and especially on cinnamon, bay leaves, pine twigs, pine needles and pine cones. Combining them with recyclable materials, crafting materials or just about anything you happen to have at home, you will be amazed at what you can create.

Follow the detailed steps that you will find in the template with the instructions for the Christmas crafts and create your own original Christmas decorations and ornaments to decorate every corner of your house! Let your imagination free and modify or customize each suggested draft according to the materials you have and as you like. Experiment! The combinations are really infinite….

During these holidays, get to know the plants of the Petrified Forest of Lesvos through the rich digital material that you will discover on the Museum's website, get inspired and have fun creating together with your friends and family.
