Βirdwatching excursions of the Kalloni Environmental Information Center

With great success took place the birdwatching excursions of the Kalloni Environmental Information Center at the Kalloni Salt Pans, on Sunday, May 16, 2021. The first event of KPEN after the lifting of the restrictions, attracted the public’s attention and the interest of participation was high.

The participants had the unique opportunity to observe the spring passage of the birds that is at its peak these days. Around 50 different species of birds were spotted!

New birdwatching excursion will be held at the Petrified Forest Park, on Saturday 22 May 2021, at 10.00. At the same time, visitors will have the chance to tour the Park and observe the rare blooming flowers and the surrounding nature. All the health protocols for Covid-19 will be strictly followed!
