A great celebration for sports and nature was the mountain bike race “Petrified Forest Adventure MTB”, organized by the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest at Sigri on Sunday 11 October, with the contribution of Lesvos Cycling Club, the Greek Rescue Team and the technical support of Lesvos Ride.

Having as starting and ending point the Museum, athletes of all ages had the unique experience to compete crossing the Petrified Forest and cycling though 20-million-year old petrified tree trunks and volcanic geosites.
