MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN AGIASOS | Lesvos Geopark

Following all the covid-19 health protocols and with great responsibility we restart the sports activities in the nature of Lesvos, with the mountain running race MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN AGIASOS, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, in the area of Agiasos, at the foot of the enchanting Olympus, one of the most important geosites of Lesvos!

During the route the athletes will have the opportunity to climb to the top of Olympus which is a geological window of the geological evolution of Lesvos and to cross the amazing landscapes and paths of the wider area of Agiasos, as well as the impressive geosites included in the geological monuments of Lesvos island Unesco Global Geopark - Λέσβος Παγκόσμιο Γεωπάρκο Unesco.

The start will take place from the Agiasos stadium at 9.00 am.
