The UNESCO Associated Schools Network creates educational activities in Greece

With great success and high attendance was conducted on Friday 15th January the second training webinar for the teachers and educators of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in Greece.

After the welcome greeting of Mrs. Vasiliki Makri, Head of the European and International Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Religions, the participants -Netwrork’s educators were informed for the new UNESCO program "UNESCO Global Geoparks” and the various possibilities of implementing educational programs thanks to the two Networks’ collaboration by Professor Nikolaos Zouros and the ASPnet National Coordinator, Mrs. Vera Dilari

In particular, the webinar included detailed presentations of the educational activities at Psiloritis Unesco Global Geopark by Mrs. Zacharenia Kefalogianni, the field educational programs at Lesvos Island Unesco Global Geopark by Mrs. Konstantina Bentana, and the educational material for Vikos-Aoos Unesco Global Geopark by Assistant professor Kostas Gavrilakis. Educational programs and educational visits of school groups at Greek Unesco Global Geoparks were also presented by Mr. Panagiotis Hatzilamprou and Mrs. Evangelia Georgaki.
