The children gather information in the exhibition spaces of the Museum and find the relation of the volcanoes with the creation of the Petrified Forest, they learn about the large volcanoes of Lesvos, the volcanic rocks and the volcanic structures of Lesvos. Step by step they discover all the processes and the changes that have contributed to the creation of todays volcanic landscapes, they get to know the volcanic geosites, the volcanic arc of Greece, the global distribution of volcanoes and how they were created.
