The international online Colloquium entitled “Preserving the Future: New approaches to Heritage Management and Environmental Protection” was conducted with great success and high attendance. The Colloquium organized by the Greek Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, was attended by almost 500 participants from all over the world.

The 5th November has been designated by the UN General Assembly as World Tsunami Awareness Day since 2015. Its aim is to inform and raise awareness among the global community about the danger of tsunami and call all countries to establish measures and strategies for tsunami risk reduction.
The Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest invites you to visit the Kalloni Environmental Information Center this weekend and take part in many fun, educational activities.
We will make our own bird watching binoculars and discover all the birds - autumn visitors of the island through memory games, puzzles and crafts! We are waiting you for a weekend full of discoveries, fun and surprises for everyone. At the same time, all visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition space.
